A Great War story told in a Great Movie, best war movie in years!
Story
1917 follows a mission from the perspective of two young british soldiers behind enemy lines in France.
Acting
Great acting by the two young main leaders ( MacKay, Chapman) and some appearances by some known stars (Firth, Strong, Cumberbatch).
Effects
It´s the art of camera work and the sound effects which transform this movie to a real masterpiece. The camera literally sticks to our main heroes throughout the whole movie, following every step they make resulting to an incredible tension.
Conclusion
By far one of the best war movies of all time, demonstrating again the absolute horror of The Great War history – we never should forget!
