Green Book Review

One of the best biography movie in years with an incredible cast – deserved every oscar it received! Fun and entertaining played in a yet very sad decade of Americas history.

The story
In the beginning of the 1960s Viggo Mortensen as an Italian-American has to accompany a talented afro-american pianist during his tour through the American South. A start of a road trip full of surprises with heartwarming storytelling.

Acting
As mentioned one of the best performances by Viggo Mortensen and Ali Mahershala. What a good choice by director Peter Farrelly, I think no one could have played the roles better. To name a few “buddy” movies by the director: “Dumb and Dumber” or “Stuck on You”.

Conclusion
An epic reflection of the 60s in the USA, you could feel the inexplicable hate on every corner, sad but true period, not to forget and to learn that we are all the same and there´s no room for prejudices!

Verdict
9/10 (great)
